A private catch log
Species, length, weight, depth, lure and whether it went back. Every fish is linked to its trip and spot, and your spots stay in your Notion, not on a public map.
Notion template · lakes, rivers & ice
A private fishing log that lives in your own Notion. Record each fish in a few taps, check the pressure trend, moon and solunar times for your spots, and let your own log show you which lures, hours and conditions put fish in the boat.
Species, length, weight, depth, lure and whether it went back. Every fish is linked to its trip and spot, and your spots stay in your Notion, not on a public map.
One tap from any spot or trip opens up to 9 days of forecast: temperature, wind and direction, cloud, rain and barometric pressure in hPa and inHg, marked Rising, Steady or Falling.
Sunrise and sunset, moon phase and moonrise, plus the two major and two minor solunar periods for every day, including your trip day, even weeks ahead.
Keep every lure and bait with its type and colour. Each one counts the fish it has caught, so the ones that earn their place rise to the top.
Export your catches and drop the file on the insights page: lures, colours, hours, moon phases, pressure trends and water temperatures, charted. The file is read in your browser and never uploaded.
Anglers guard their spots, and so do we. Your spots and catches stay on your device and in your own Notion. The companion site has no accounts and no tracking, and it never stores or logs coordinates.

Open the page the template shows for a spot, with live conditions, the pressure trend, sun and moon times and solunar periods. Then open the insights page with a season of sample catches.
The sample lake and the sample catch log are synthetic, for demonstration only.
You'll need a free Notion account. The template works on the free Notion plan, on desktop, in a web browser and in the Notion phone app, so you can log a fish from the boat.
No. Everything in the template works on Notion's free plan.
Yes. The template records length in centimetres and weight in kilograms, and shows inches and pounds alongside. The conditions page shows °C and °F, km/h and mph, and pressure in hPa and inHg.
Yes. It's built for freshwater: lakes, rivers and hard water. Log depth, water temperature and clarity with each catch.
From MET Norway's weather model for your spot's coordinates. It covers about the next 9 days. Conditions on big water and in valleys can differ, so check local forecasts and marine warnings before you head out.
Solunar times are based on traditional solunar theory — a guide, not a guarantee. Many anglers find them useful for planning; your own catch log is the best way to see whether they hold on your water.
Only you. They live in your own Notion. The conditions page gets a spot's coordinates from its link and never stores or logs them, and the insights page reads your export in your browser without uploading it.
